Hi, my name is Chloé Félix. I’m a Swiss-Australian photographer and community art facilitator who works where people, portraits, and trees meet. My practice explores in-between spaces – where reality blurs and imagination reshapes how we see ourselves and our connection to the world around us.
I completed a Bachelor of Arts (Media Arts) at RMIT University in Naarm/Melbourne, after earlier specialised studies in photography. I now freelance for NGOs, community groups, and cultural organisations. My photography and community projects have been supported through awards and artist residencies in Berlin, Varanasi, and Switzerland.
I’m also passionate about my role as a community-engaged art and cultural outreach worker. I share my skills through interactive lectures, workshops, and events that foster creativity and connection. I’ve worked extensively with children, young people, and individuals with migration stories — experiences that inspired me to create the project Stories from Home and Here.
Growing up across Australia, South Asia, and Switzerland has deeply shaped my sense of belonging and identity. I find joy in many experiences: listening to stories under trees, swimming with luminous microorganisms, soaking in hot springs beneath the northern lights, stargazing in deserts, and celebrating the beauty of everyday moments and the intricacies of small things...
